The official Twitter app for the iPhone was updated this morning. It is now multi tasking ready! Some initial testing showed positive results. To be honest this is the first non native application for the iPhone, where I have seen multitasking work on iOS 4 and it is pretty smooth. Even if you switch app in the middle of writing a tweet, it will pause and continue where you last left off!

• More secure tweeting and photo/video posting (now using Oauth for all communications with Twitter and hosting partners)

Those of you who are waiting for the White iPhone 4 shouldn’t hold their breath. Apple just released a short statement in which it says the White iPhone won’t be available until mid July.
